What
is it?
The International AIDS Housing Roundtable is a forum for
discussion of issues pertaining to homelessness and HIV and
the provision of appropriate housing for people living with
HIV and AIDS. This roundtable is a project of the USA-based
National AIDS Housing Coalition. The Roundtable is intended
to provide opportunities for international dialogue toward
the development and implementation of public policies that
recognize the critical role of housing both in the
prevention of HIV transmission and in the care of people who
are living with HIV and AIDS.
Join the
IAHR!
he Roundtable is a moderated listserv. The current
moderator of the list is Kenneth Robinson, Vice President
for Housing Operations at Housing Works, Inc., located in
New York City. To join the listserv, go to
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iahr/join and follow the
instructions.
In addition to the listserv, the International AIDS Housing
Roundtable has created this web site where participants in
the Roundtable can post information of interest.
In future months, the Roundtable
will also sponsor conference
calls and other distance communication opportunities to
support the development of broad-based support for the
expansion of housing resources toward ending the AIDS
pandemic.
