Representatives Support Fully Funding HOPWA in FY07

House HOPWA Letter

 

 

On March 14, 2006, 107 Representatives signed a letter to HUD Appropriators requesting an increased funding level for the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program!

 

The letter, co-sponsored by Representatives Nadler (D-8th NY), Ros-Lehtinen (R-18th FL), and Crowley (D-7th NY), requests a funding level of $424 million for the program for FY06.  The president's budget proposal requests an inadequate level of only $300 million.
